How can you explain why not one of Kerry's "band of brothers" backs up the Cambodia story?

you don't write classified missions in your diary. You can get 10 years in prison for doing that.

Yet a few years later, coincidentally right after Apocalypse Now was released, Kerry was comparing himself to Martin Sheen and talking about going into Cambodia. Did it get declassified?

O'Neill backed up Kerry when he told Nixon he had been in Cambodia. Baloney. First, O'Neill served after Kerry had left. Second, O'Neill has said he misspoke to Nixon and was never in Cambodia.
