thanks guys, ended up with an ATI radeon 9200 128 MB for $68 installed it today seems to work fine. Could not add another 3dfx with only 1 AGP slot, so went with the above dual card although no need for 128 MB but that was the cheapest price for a dual card that would work with my old 2X 3 volt DELL. donv
