Barrick understands the business of mining,... lock in profits by confirming revenues is common amongst resource producers,...and in the end that's all they did along with lots of other producers of gold and other resources. If you want to sue Barrick you have to sue Newmont, and most of the oil companies too.

The lawsuit against Barrick is stupidity, and he who loses will get countersued for costs, if they can pay in the end. Someone will get countersued into bankruptcy because the claim is malicious and can easily be proven as such.
