Well, you know, Sir George the Old did propose sanctions as the solution. Now, in general, sanctions take more than a month or two be effective. When they didn't prove to be effective after a few weeks, going to war seems to be pretty extreme...


You are kidding, right? You think that wanctions were the right way to deal with Saddam in 1990?
