Z Re...No... not quite it... he browbeats people the second he gets any inkling they're not answering his questions directly
You both agree, Matthews browbeats people. Matthews quite often changes the meaning of what a person says, and then browbeats people into responding affirmatively to his interpretation. For instance, the girl Zell was talking about was Kuame, I believe, who said SBVT said one of Kerry's wounds was self inflicted. Matthews, responded several times, and asked her if she thought she really thought Kerry wounded himself on purpose. There is a difference between the two. A good example, is, if you are hitting a nail, and you accidently hit your thumb, that would be self inflicted, but not on purpose. Yet Matthews claimed she said, Kerry did it on purpose, and then proceeded to browbeat her until she said no. No wonder MSNBC's ratings have fallen below every major but CNN, even with Brokaw, and Russert, on for the pre- convention. |
