Sega dropping the 3DFX chipset is the best thing that ever happened to the company. The last thing 3DFX should do is establish a reputation as a producer of low power, low price, low margin console chips. The real money and margins are going to be made in the PC business where people can afford to pay top dollar for leading edge stuff. All of 3DFX's energy and effort should be consumed taking and holding that market. If they execute that plan successfully this stock is going up 1,000% in the next 18 months.
