The world is at a precarious point in it's development with an imminent energy shortage coming and a building greenhouse effect. The last thing we need right now is to be wasting our resources on Bush's oil wars. Do you bother to think before you post? If it wasn't for "evil big oil" providing the necessary fuel, the worlds economy would crash to a halt. And to replace every mode of transportation that uses petroleum derivatives with a horse and buggy, which seems to be the dream of utopian leftist greenies, would mean increasing the equestrian population to the point where their methane "emmissions" would raise the global temperature at least ten degrees. Energy is a commodity, and the only way to ensure that enough is produced is to let the free market, yes, that evil profit motive, work as it should.
