Did you notice that GW got teary eyed during his remarks about his contacts with soldiers' families? That type of emotional sincerity cannot be staged, least of all by rigid candidate Kerry. I'd wager that Karen Hughes wrote that portion of Pres Bush's speech. She knows him well & most likely had seen the same reaction after his meetings with military families. Voters needed to see proof of GW's genuine concern for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us in Iraq, and that's exactly what was demonstrated last night.
