Right. And the reason why there were no terrorist attacks from the late '70s through the '90s was that the US was considered to be off limits by those that were operating through out the rest of the world. Europe was considered to be fair game, but not the US...

I think it is obvious that ANYONE could have done the '93 Towers bombing, ANYTIME before '93. There was ZERO security. Same is true of federal buildings all over the nation - prior to OKC, you could have driven a Ryder truck up to the front door of any Federal building in the nation. I frequently worked in the federal building at 1100 Commerce in Dallas, and could have parked a truck bomb in front of the place by just waiting 5 minutes for a parking space.

We had never been attacked. There was no reason to think we even NEEDED security.

You seem very determined to criticize Bush, but you really don't seem to have any basis for doing so. Kind of strange...
