ExxonMobil releases study on energy needs.. report says that the world will require about 40% more energy in 2020 than today and consumption levels will reach almost 300 million oil-equivalent barrels per day.
these sizeable demand increases are expected even with continued 1% annual improvements in overall energy efficiency.

according to report 80% of energy growth through 2020 will go to improving living standards in many parts of the developing world, where 85% of the world's population will live in 20 years.
