Ah yes, the third normal form. Come up with a logical data model before you have all the analysts and programmers on the project team convince you why you MUST denormalize before the physical database design. I thought that's what you meant by data geek.

I am (when I work) a data analyst, data modeller, data adminsitrator or data architect (title depends on the user). At present, independent and semi-retired although would not turn down a contract. Used to be a Manager of Database Administration group. Have always been data oriented in terms of computer systems. I do visit the data oriented user groups, now and then.

So what are some other promising companies that you are following ?
