"I believe it's all smoke and mirrors. " A little education might help you to refine your beliefs. Chechnya is a special situation. They have been the victims of ethic cleansing by the Russians periodically for centuries. A few years ago (90s) the Russians once again invaded and annexed their region. This has historically been the region Russia had to conquer to begin their take over of the dominoes. They have been fighting for independence every since. I, of course, do not support the terrorism the Chechnyans are perpetrating. However, this isn't an arm of the broader terrorist operations. They have their own local grievance with the Russians. I don't see it as in our interests to get involved and I have no way of understanding how you are able to make it a bash on bush.
