"Iraqi police and national security" forces will be loyal enough to so that they'll be willing to put their lives on the line when tested by one of the many radical, passionate and deadly factions in Iraq? They are in the midst of a culture shock that is somewhat unique in the world. Their loyalties are divided and they are looking for something super-ordinate to believe in that does not contradict what they believe in their hearts. Obviously that would not be allegiance to anything we are peddling. I have posted my treatment on democracy in the region.
