I am not sold shirts from China by China, I am sold such shirts by Sears. It has nothing to do with the "willingness" of other countries to accept payment in inflated currency (I do not even know what that means without more money buying less), since the bidding up should occur on the retail level, whether it is to the profit of Sears stockholders exclusively, or is passed along to the factory in Beijing.

As for the willingness to buy US securities, they will buy something, because we are the most desirable investment market. If they move assets to the stock market, they will support a bull market. If they move assets to corporate bonds, they will make credit more obtainable to industry. In other words, we generate doomsday scenarios by not considering the whole picture, but focusing on a small part of it.
