I have said that Kerry's record in open in Navy records office.
Has he signed the form, I think it's 180, to release all his records, including his reserve records and the reason he didn't his discharge until 2001? From what I read, he hasn't, but there are still records he refuses to release to the press or public. Do you know for a fact that every single part of his military record is absolutely and completely available directly fron the Navy to any member of the press who seeks it? (Not filtered through his office, but from the source.) I don't think you can say this.
Besides, the people have made up their minds on what Bush and Kerry did 30 years ago. ... Now we need to move on to issues people are interested in...
I'm interested in whether the person I'm being asked to elect as Commander in Chief of our military forces, in which my son serves, has or has not lied about his military service. I'm interested in whether the person I'm being asked to elect as Commander in Chief of our military forces, in which my son serves, has lied about the medals he claims to have been awarded for his military service. I'm interested in whether the person I'm being asked to elect as Commander in Chief of our military forces, in which my son serves, submitted or knowingly benefited from false reports.
These things may not matter to you. They matter tremendously to me, since I will be entrusting my son's life to the integrity and honesty of his Commander in Chief. |
