>> Because their leaders are scaring them.
I don't know of ANYONE who is "scared" by their "leaders".
"Fear" isn't the issue. This is just a matter of good, common sense.
While the United States is many times safer today than on 9/10, a person would have to be certifiable, after havng seen 9/11, to not realize we have vulnerabilities and always will.
Your complacency on this issue is amazing to me. If you were to read some of my posts after 9/11, I think it would be clear that my greatest concern, going forward from 9/11, is that liberals would quickly become complacent about it.
When Bush expressed his intent to conduct a long-term, extensive war on terror, it was clear to me that the Left simply did not have the collective gumption to understand the problem and what had to be done; this, combined with an insatiable appetite for instant gratification, would make the biggest battle in the war on terror one against the Left. I believe you exemplify my concerns perfectly.
Grow up. Understand that government's most legitimate function is to protect its citizens. We were attacked on our own soil, unprovoked, at the cost of 3,000 lives and billions upon billions of dollars. If they could do it again and take out 2,000,000 lives and a major city they would clearly do it without a second's thought.
And you think our "leaders" are scaring people?
It takes all kinds. You seem articulate, and at times you come across with what I think may be intellect. But these kinds of remarks really make me question your ability to think clearly.
Perhaps your "drunk" again? Crap. |
