I agree there is contempt but also hate. I couldn't re-watch Zell Miller because I haven't watched it. On TV I only saw Bush, I caught Cheney and Arnold on the radio. Looking up the text of the speech on the internet newsday.com I see no hate displayed in the words he used. And the comments, while negative, are a lot less negative then comments frequently made by liberals about Bush. The text of the speech also does not attack Kerry's patriotism (which is another charge that has been made against it). Tim
