There is nothing new in your post. I've been up front from the beginning. I've informed SI Dave and they are hoping to add an "assistant" feature to moderate threads to the new site. If they ask me to stop banning posters, I will stop immediately (of course).

Personally I will be glad when this election is over and I can concentrate on finance, economics and investing (the reasons I came to SI). I did not appreciate the anger of the anti-Kerry posters (now I do). The hate PMs I receive are unbelievable. Why? Because I support John Kerry? Because I ban posters on a thread that are not following the rules of the thread? Amazing.

No matter what happens in November, we must find a way to overcome the enmity that has developed during this campaign. I've never seen anything like this. Very sad.
