Z Re.... mean, I'm to the left of just about anyone in the Senate, with the exception of maybe Teddy, and I know tons of people to the left of me.
I have been gone for most of the summer, but what happened to the guy, who claimed to be independent, just last winter. Now you are in with the NYT, Ted, Al, and AS crowd, who will tell any lie they want, and justify it with their hatred of not just GW, but anyone who doesn't agree with them. That isn't democracy, that is the beginning of anarchy. And you two, talking about starting a civil war, if GW wins the election, just as the south did with Lincoln, has to be stomped out too, because that also is the beginnings of anarchy, and the end of democracy.
Win lose or draw, whoever wins the election, should win your support, until the next election. I am not talking about being subservient, just withholding your fire, and criticism until the office holder has a chance to deserve your ire. every winner of any election deserves that. Give new policies, and new directions a chance. Being closed minded to the possibilities, is far worse, than, the damage any failed policy can cause. The far left, Ted and Al hated GW long before he was elected, which is why their diatribes now, have no meaning. They are just more of the same, not based on fact, but hatred. And it is that hate which is evil, and which I am opposed to. Now, I am sure they will respond that the far right started it with Clinton, and the far right will say, the left started it with Iran- Contra, ad nauseum. It is time for both sides to stop, period.
If Kerry wins the election, then he will have my support, or, at least, I will with hold my criticism, until I feel he deserves criticism, and I will use nothing but the truth, as far as I know it, to level those criticisms. I expect no less, from every fair minded republican, or democrat. |
