The Chechens live, act like, and speak Russian. They can hide easily in the population. And there are a lot of them there. Plus, they have an enormous resentment of the Government built up. Makes it easier to find converts. And they are Muslims. Al Qaeda sends some people in and sets up a cell without much problem.

Lot tougher to do here. Our biggest weakness is that we are still letting muslim foreigners live here. If we are hit like Russia, this will change. Our PC was one of the reasons for 911. We were not profiling. I am not sure we would have stopped them getting on the planes, but we didn't even try. And we are still letting them board with little problem.
