The best record is what we all know now. We know Kerry has had two tours of duty in Vietnam.

We also know that Bush used his family influence to duck signing up to go to combat. We know that Bush can hardly produce anyone who remembers him showing up in Alabama. But Kerry on the other hand has produced nine people who served with him on the boat.

We know that the Swiftboat ads were lies and smear. 4 of those appearing in the ad have publicly admitted that they made their statemenst from mere hearsay and were not present at the scene. Another, who signed a affidavit (the things that the O'Neill book relies heavily on) said that he did not know that the affidavit was going to be used for that purpose. He has since withdrawn his support.

So what is there left to pursue on this than to just sit by the wayside and contemplate on a meaningless pursuit of "Kerry should sign papers. Why doesn't Bush sign papers etc. etc." The press has moved on and everybody else has moved on. Even your URLs are for news items which are 3 weeks old.
