John, If taxpayers knew how their pockets are picked on a daily basis by federal & state gov, they would be outraged. I'm convinced that corps have co-opted both political parties with huge donations to reelection campaigns. In the meantime American jobs are outsourced & the remaining jobs deteriorate in quality. Both political parties have been bought to the detriment of average Americans(admittedly many rarely pay attention or vote & thereby forfeit their power). Global investors(corporations)have received all the benefits of free trade agreements while workers are left to fend for themselves. Politicians' 1st priority is always their own reelection. Citizens concerns suddenly appear on their radar screens a few mos before their next election. Otherwise everything is fine.<g>
