I think the Dems have gone off the deep end this year. Embracing conspiracy theories like Michael Moore's. the admin gave a presentation to the Senate in which it stated that Saddam had submarines capable of sending unmanned drones with missiles to hit our Eastern Seaboard. Guess I missed the administration saying Iraq had submarines. I'd be interested in seeing a link supporting that they made such a claim. Till then I don't believe they claimed Iraq had submarines. Why do think Kerry voted for the war resolution? And why when asked recently if, knowing what we know now, he would have gone to war with Iraq, his answer was "You bet we might have."? The fact is Dems engaged in as much hawkish rhetoric about Saddam as the Bush administration has done. But once George Bush decided to go to war, most conveniently forgot that. Politics are #1 for many.
