The way you reduce deficits is through economic expansion. Ask Bill Clinton. You can't do it by raising taxes because Congress simply views it as a checkbook with a bigger balance.

I am glad you're the CPA...Clinton reduced deficits through a combination of tax increases and expense management. If anything, the economic expansion that followed debunks the notion that tax increases stymie the economy.
