To get a definitive answer you will have to visit BC and learn things first hand. The Canadian system of education is just as bad as the one in the US. It adopts the same "Self-Esteem" philosophy and has been adopting it for about 40 years and, in spite of the fact it has been called "total garbage" it is still being in the schools. Go figure! So, Canada has its fair share of mindless and unthinking types!!! I have been in Canada (having been "invited" here) for more than 40 years and, over the years I have noticed that its BC politicians are of the flakey variety. Also, imho, there's too much socialism over there. Because of the warm climate in the coastal regions, lots of unemployed and lazy types and low-life flock to BC to suck at the tits of BC welfare socialism. Naturally, folks who are used to getting social "freebies" don't want to kill the goose (the NDP govt.) that lays the golden egg! BC is doing quite well thanks in no small part to its very hardworking Asian immigrants and substantial investmnents and infusions of funds from abroad. Lots of immigrants are happy with the NDP!
