Yes, the Russian school atrocity ought to wake up a lot of pro-terrorist leaners. What an awful pointless evil thing to have done. To kids. Amazing. Hopefully it will backfire for the terrorists and end up making them more politically despised in Arab countries.

Don't forget though, the way Bush went to war in Iraq created many terrorists. So any improvement we get now is damage control. The correct way to have taken out Saddam was to have been a little more patient and cooperative about it. After all, he was no real threat, especially with our forces massed in Kuwait. Sadly, the very allies which the rightwing has attacked, especisally the Un itself, were the very ones we needed to legitimize our invasion. Also, of course, Bush should have prepared a post invasion government (minus Chalabi) before shocking and awing us, then claiming mission accomplished.

According to Pat Buchanon, Iraq will get a lot worse before it gets better. The Shiites are the ones who lead if we give them democracy, and they are not much different from the leaders in Iran Bush calls "evil". Trading one enemy for another?
