9/11 had impacts that are hard to calculate and attribute. the entire insurance landscape was put on it's head, not to mention disruptions to companies long term strategic thinking, hence it's capital investment. but the reality of it is that there are things playoing out in our economy today that are trends that began long ago and are manifesting themselves today..
