Actually, the GOP'ss best friend is the media. The media has helped him greatly with this swift boat controversy. A respectable media would have laughed those clowns off the stage. Instead, the clowns have been granted incredible access. The same with Zell's speech. Simple analysis of the speech would make Bush look silly for having such a clown on his stage. Fortunately for Bush, the media did not analyze the speech.
