I agree.

Before Dean imploded I was highly amused by the fact that the Dems were intent on committing political suicide. It was too good to be true, and I fully expected the DLC, or some other mature adult organization, to take the reins.

Dean eventually imploded, but the fact remains that there is still a sizable contingent of infantile Dem loonies residing within the Dem tent.

So that you won't think I'm as partisan as it seems, the parallel I see to the GOP in 1964. The inmates then, like now, seem to be in charge of the asylum. Michael Moore seems to be this election's version of Nurse Ratched while Al Sharpton fills Turkle's shoes.
