Your post illustrates the fundamental problem with the Leftist position on the war -- that somehow, financing ought to enter into it.

IF A WAR IS WORTH FIGHTING (and Kerry said it was), then the cost is TOTALLY immaterial. It simply doesn't matter. You do it. You're protecting your family.

It is strange to me to have people even thinking about making the conduct of a war contingent on its cost.
