Surely you misspeak? Wasn't that one of Bush's main reasons for invading Iraq - fear they would trade WMDs to a rogue state or terrorists?

Once again, the concept is that America has no obligation to remove fault from Iraq - unless - those faults negatively affect America. So I did not misspeak.

Our fear of Iraq was predicated upon the fact that Iraq, due to its actions against America, acquired an obligation to the world to confirm disarmament, an obligation it intentionally failed to fulfill for nearly twelve years. It was for this reason America entered Iraq.
