We're talking about election 2004. Military experience is important to this year's campaign. Yes, that's what Kerry keeps telling himself. You'd think he'd have caught on by now that making four months in Vietnam the centerpiece of your campaign was a bad idea. Did he really think his actions after his return wouldn't become MORE of an issue due to his "I'm a war hero and he's not" routine? And did he really think trumpeting his "V for valor" was a good idea when it is clearly bogus? Man, what a dope! BTW, Bush has been CiC for longer now than Kerry was on active duty. I'd say that trumps four months combat duty and three years pushing a pencil.
