I'm in Pinellas County, Florida, and the Blockbuster distribution center is in Miami. Netflix had a distribution center in Tampa, right across the bay.

Re Blockbuster fixing the problems, I think that depends what their motive is ... do they really think this is a good business for them that they want to grow or do they just want to marginalize Netflix by attracting some of their customers (or keep Blockbuster's own customers from migrating)?

Seems strange that they launched the promotion so unprepared ... the movies I've been adding to my list aren't anything rare, they are things that were mass market hits in the past decade.

And strange they didn't copy more of Netflix's features. Blockbuster has a "Top 10" list, but what I liked about Netflix is it had very extensive lists in various genres, so it was easy to find movies to add to my list.

The minute Blockbuster drops the two free coupons per month, I'll probably go back to Netflix.
