"What do most people in the ME say about the radical Islamists?"

It is hard to generalize and this question is quite complex.

I can say that their cause is viewed much less sympathetically now then it was in the past, mainly due to Qaedas indiscriminate terrorist actions. The current Russian tragedy is viewed very negatively as are the Saudi bombings and executions.

The local media is presenting a much more balanced picture then before (except Jazira and Hizbollah networks. This is good and they are getting introspective and questioning the way they do things.

GHW policies are having a positive effect on the whole region. It is not creating more terrorists. Just bringing the existing ones out of the closet. Now they can be dealt with. Better overseas than in US.
