Who are we in relation to Jihadis? I suppose, we are "conservatives", intending to preserve our civilization from those reactionary revolutionaries, who would like our future to become what once was their (idealised) past.... We are "social revolutionaries" to them. Our rules for religious and social freedom, especially the way we allow women to behave, are not acceptable. This changeover to our social and religious rules has been going on around the world for centuries, and always causes upheaval in the older social orders.
