Actually Jon, Westergaard very explicitly said that Pluvia
has not made any false statements, and while Pluvia
has spoken truth, Westergaard thinks that the way it is
slanted is harmful to investors. And Westergaard doesn't
see the bounty thing as being the wrong thing to do. This
is partly because Pluvia is an alias.
(this is all on the P. vs. W. thread)

Funny, Westergaard compares writer A. Abelson Barron's)
similarly to Pluvia, yet if A. Abelson ( were in Pluvia's place,
you can very well bet the no bounty controversy would be around.
Bountys are good for some people and not for others -- because
of an alias. I guess if you, Jon, went by Jon, you'd be OK
in Westergaard's book, but if you went by 'Steve' you would
somehow be different and befitting of a bounty.

So apparently truth can be bad if it's delivered the wrong
way. I guess SI lurkers and posters can't sort out the
'good truth' from 'bad truth'. So Westergaard is being kind
enough to step in as a guiding light since truth is such a
variable concept. I didn't realize there were two kinds.

And the intrinsic value of invading someone's privacy
by offering a bounty because they spoke the truth isn't
necessarily bad along as a good reason is given.

These are the new things I learned on SI today. On a seperate
and unrelated note, I also learned that OJ actually had a really
good reason for his acts, so we shouldn't be too harsh on him.
