Congrats.....my father came out ok....some minor damage, but nothing too severe...they havent had power for awhile and still dont, but did get their phones back on just an hour or so ago.....some broken windows, lost their lanai and most everything outside, but the house came out ok and they came out ok, which is what is most important...unfortunatly, the house they just left in punta gorda sustained alot of damage...it was already trashed, but the heavy wind and rain from this storm did alot more additional damage.....and now??? IVAN on the way....sheesh....right now, we are getting the remnants to francis up here where I am.....just starting here...we have alot of tornados popping up, heavy wind and very intense rain and flooding.....supposed to get worse as the day and night moves on......I suspect we may lose power/phones as well...they just lost power and phones about 20 miles away where a 'cell' formed, spurning some tornados and very heavy wind/rain....most of my neighborhood is a lake right now and they are saying the rain is just getting started and will be heavy and last awhile.....aint life fun!!!!
