Why are the terrorists doing anything? Why what is their motivation? Have their former governments been toppled enough or are they tired of the graft and tired of the suppressive rulers like the Shah that was put in place in Iran and like Saddam in Iraq. Are they tired of their countries only resource being ripped off? No not at all. The secret police in IRAN and IRAQ and Saudi Arabia are some of the best friends of the locals. And who cares if the locals ever get a piece of the pie. Granted Stpehen two wrongs don't make a right but what to do now after 50 years of nation building that is what need to be addressed. EDIT: Stepen you are right about thread degeneration. I guess some of us are thinking of long term cause and effect. Maybe these so called terrorists are way off base and no doubt they are. But the US, the British and the Soviet Union have sown seeds for decades that are now bearing fruit. As my dad used to say it is time for everyone to straighten up and fly right.
