"An ex-sister-in-law could easily harbor grudges against her former family-in-law and wish to harm them. We must as a result approach her with a high degree of skepticism."

A witness is a witness... all should be evaluated skeptically. (However, since there are numerous other people who have made similar claims of drug use --- particularly from his Yale days --- then their statements add a certain versimilitude to this particular claim.)

Would you automatically throw out the testimony of a streetwalker who claimed to have witnessed a murder? (No, you would give the jury the whole picture as best you could, and let the jury decide for themselves as to the reliability of the witness.)

So to with the testimony of an 'ex-sister-in-law'.

"Bill Clinton's own brother claimed Bill did a lot of coke and virtually no one cared about it."

I disagree. I believe a LOT of attention was paid to the charges. (But it is up to our citizens themselves whether they wish to change their vote choices because of allegations of illegal drug use... even such sensational ones as allegations of illegal drug use in the Presidential compound of Camp David.)

My PERSONAL view, is that I would be more concerned about the candidate's lying to the public --- in claiming 'no illegal drug use for 25 years' --- if these charges of more recent use were substantiated....
