Here's one:

Toobin: If there was a statewide recount, under every scenario, Gore won the election.

The media groups which investigated the Florida election found that the recount the Florida SC ordered would still have resulted in a Bush victory. Toobin's claim in F911 is factually incorrect. I've already posted on this.

Moore does most of his lying by insinuation and false implication, but deception is his aim and an intentional false insinuation or implication is still a lie. If his purpose is to put a lie in his viewers mind, then he is merly lying in a sneaky manner.

For example, here is a false implication that is an obvious lie: Moore then implies that the war was really a front for Unocal to create a pipeline:

When the invasion of Afghanistan was complete, we installed its new president, Hamid Karzai. Who was Hamid Karzai? He was a former advisor to Unocal. Bush also appointed as our envoy to Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, who was also a former Unocal advisor. I guess you can probably see where this is leading. Faster than you can say black gold Texas tea, Afghanistan signed an agreement with her neighboring countries to build a pipeline through Afghanistan carrying natural gas from the Caspian Sea.
But as Ken Silverstein wrote in The American Prospect back in 2002 and Isikoff and Hosenball show in their article about "Fahrenheit," Unocal dropped support for the pipeline in 1998 (the company has issued a press release making this point).

No rational person can take Moore's propaganda seriously. And I am glad Kerry's supporters are doing so. For one thing, it gives me one more opportunity to post the link to spinsanity which has done such a wonderful job of exposing the deceptions in Moore's movies and books.
