i recently did a scan for spyware. I used NoAdware's free scan. it found a bunch of stuff (Gator, few others). in order to clean it, i had to buy their product $29-lifetime. which i did. Was that wise/necessary? I am ok paying for protection, but didn't like the way i was lead into buying it after the free scan. thoughts appreciated. larry
