This is becoming very tedious, you continually regress to your tired old arguement that G* is technically superior because they utilized CDMA. I may not be an expert on satellites but I do know that there are complexities beyond the access mode. Lets get some facts straight here. When good old Bernie first announced that G* would be using CDMA he claimed that it could handle 20 times the traffic of conventional lines whereas TDMA could handle only about 5 times. The problem was, at that point CDMA was not working. After several delays they finally developed a workable product that could handle only about 7 times that of conventional lines. Boy am I impressed. Now Bernie is once again trying to convince people that he has a global system, which we all know will not happen. However, a large number of people that have no clue as to the bigger picture of global, real time business will look at the stock and say "hey, I can save almost $1 per minute and $2,250 on the phone, such a deal. So what if an executive's time is worth hundreds or thousands per hour, just so long as I can show I saved my $1 per minute. Businessmen have been known to drop more than the difference of the phone on dinner. Then they turn around and make 10 times that amount on a deal.
Iridium has raised twice the money that G* was able to come up with. The fact is Bernie could only afford a half baked system with his "bent pipe", almost global idea, and that is what you will get.
By the way Maurice, Iridium World Communications only has an 8% interest in Iridium LLC. The reason that the market cap of G* is twice that of Iridium is that it has been out there for a year more than Iridium. In addition, there are other foolish people out there that believe businesses still operate on pennies
