Perhaps Bushco is afraid of Bob Graham's insider knowledge of cover-up of Saudi connections to 911 or afraid of new information concerning 43's use of family leverage to get a Reserves post whose service he didn't complete. Perhaps they're afraid of renewed inspection of 43's snorting youth and other tidbits to come out of Kitty's new book. Perhaps they're afraid of the jobs numbers or the deficit numbers or the poverty numbers. Perhaps they're afraid that hitting the 1000 killed in Iraq will further tilt public opinion against the war or afraid that Pakistan is going to fail to deliver OBL in time for October surprise. Perhaps they're afraid of what their internal polls are showing. Maybe they're afraid they've peaked too soon. And maybe, and most probably, they're afraid that they won't have time to cover their felonious trails upon losing in November.</b<

Whatever. Big Dick's accusation that voting for a Kerry administration will result in a terrorist attack smacks of a desperate attempt to divert attention onto the statement itself, to make its outrageousness the debate instead of everything else.
