MD...not to be a whiner but I tried Avast about a year ago and didn't like it. I felt that it was a little too intrusive and annoying. Too many automatic features that I prefer to do manually. Also I used it with XP Pro and it didn't seem to play nice with XP Pro (on my machine).

I've heard good things about Avast, that's why I tried it..but I prefer AVG.
