Ted, I think those are two excellent reasons to get rid of it.........and I don't think they are particularly slick.

I agree, but apparently the LA Times isn't satisfied with just that, so they tell two guys to equate the Electoral College with slavery and disenfranchisement of women.

What's the point of coming up with such a dumb argument? To drum up more passion against the Electoral College and eliminate the chance that a future Republican (not just any candidate, mind you) will ever get elected without the popular vote.

It's a conspiracy theory, for sure, but it's the only explanation I have for this instance of journalistic lunacy.
