Like others here, I became interested in Amylin because diabetes runs in the family. My opinion that the stock will trade short-term in a 7-9 range is just my opinion on the stock. I think the company has a winner here long-term, but as others have noted, there will be some competition and the current trial results suggest caution. I believe the company has been honest and accurate in conveying complex information to the medically "uneducated" investor such as myself.

Obviously, I'd like to see the shares increase in value beyond 9, since I have a small long position, but I think patience is the key here. Keep the information coming about Amylin, Ligand and all the rest, I appreciate it.
