I live in Sarasota. Ft. Meyers and environs got hit much harder although we are not many miles apart. Frances also spared Sarasota except for electrical outages. Take a look at IVAN the terrible. He's done in Grenada and is heading toward Cuba and Jamaica... THEN he is supposed to head toward the WEST coast of Florida. Currently I am in NC and we got hit by the tail end of Frances.... Fourteen inches of rain, winds, fallen trees, high water over roads and much slides... It's been a terrible two days. Schools are still closed today. Entire towns were cut off...as Newland N.C. Water just made the an island. I think Bin Laden is sending terror in the form of hurricanes..
