There is nothing unique about the goal to see democracy flourish -- that has nothing to do with the defining features of the ideology that brought you the invasion of Iraq. Your desire to see a world in which people enjoy more personal and politcal freedom is no stronger than mine -- not one bit. No, the defining feature of the neocon ideology is the hubris concerning what can be accomplished by the worlds sole "superpower" exercising its military superiority and using its military unilaterally when other means are available and more likely to succeed, or atleast are essential elements if we are to have any hope of achieving success. Militarism is the defining element of the neocons, not liberty or democracy.
