The issue Re: Bush AWOL is that Bush is running as a "War" President. He's the C in C and Kerry isn't fit for command. The question then is "Is someone who was AWOL and would have been ineligible for an honorable discharge FIT FOR COMMAND? I say no especially considering the inept way he has persecuted the War on Terrorism. 800 dead in Iraq since Bush declared victory! Somehow the Repubs have managed to turn the whole thing on its ear. Kerry a decorated war vet is unfit for command Bush the AWOL soldier ineligible for an honorable discharge is the big "War President".
