Grupo, Good to see your apology. I was just about to come to your defense and also suggest that you come through with a 'mea culpa". I, too, was surprised at your tone with Angelique. But, having read your offerings on Prodigy for a year now, I realize that when things get stressful as a result of all the research that you are doing, you can get a little short of temper. Remember when this DCIC/FTEL alliance first broke, and you realized that your CT connections might give you an "in" for info? You were working day and night getting us the scoop. Some Prodigy "contributors" continued to bemoan FTEL, lack of a ten-fold price increase, etc. and you came on in your weariness and blasted some ungrateful soul, stating that Moneytalk would never hear from you again. Fortunately, when you settled down and the others rightfully provided you postitive feddback to offset the negativity of others, you came back to continue to provide us with your great contributions.
When I read your response to Angelique, I said 'geez, what's up with Grupo?' Then I realized all the work you've been doing as this deal has been coming together, up late researching, not sleeping in your excited state, etc., and I understood the cause of your response. Still felt sorry for Angelique and hoped you would make it right. Then when Terry Norman came out with his even more negative post, I says to myself "Great, here we go again; When I'm really enjoying this Board, with none of the personal attacks and retorts that were frequent on Prodigy, this stuff is going to start'. But, I must say, both you and Terry have handled it well. So, now we can all get back to the matters at hand. Keep up the good work.
However, one more thing: Cold turkey as follows: 1) Get yourself an ISP account 2) Download Netscape 2.0 or better 3) Trash the Prodigy software
You won't have to type with fear of getting the "Communication has been disrupted" or whatever message they use (it's been awhile for me) and watch as your Prodigy application quits.
Got on *P's Moneytalk yesterday through software at work to see if I was missing anything.
I'm not.
Except for Bill F. <VBG>.
I know Prodigy is an old friend, but sometimes you just have to move on.
